If a till is showing in Demo Mode, this means it has lost it's connection to the online licence portal, try each step below one at a time until the problem is resolved.

  1. Restart the software: Press Manager Screen, Press Exit Software, Press Yes to exit, Double tap the CES Touch Software icon on the desktop to start the software.
  2. If the till is showing the Demo Mode message and you are unable to use the till, plug a USB keyboard into the till. USB ports found next to the cables that plug into the till e.g. power cable
  3. Press the CTRL ALT DEL buttons on the keyboard
  4. Press the option for Task Manager
  5. Press and highlight the Touch Screen Software for EPOS app
  6. Press End Task
  7. Once the till software closes, double tap the CES Touch Software icon on the desktop to start the software
  8. Make sure the till is connected to the internet. Check the Ethernet cable is connected properly or check the till is connected to the WIFI if using a WIFI dongle
