If no checks are printing to the Kitchen Printer, or a message appears on the till showing Remote Printer offline, try each step below one at a time until the problem is resolved.

  1. On the till, under the Manager Screen, press 'Restart Printer' button. If you have multiple tills, this normally needs to be done on till 1 only.
  2. Check all cables are fully inserted on the till and also the kitchen printer.
  3. Check if the kitchen printer is displaying an error light. This could indicate the paper has ran out or not inserted properly. If the printer has an ink ribbon, try removing, tightening and reinserting.
  4. Reset the printer by doing the following:
    1. Turn the printer off
    2. Hold down the paper feed button
    3. Turn the printer back on
    4. Once the printer starts printing or beeps, let go of the paper feed button
    5. The printer should now print out configuration settings
    6. Once its finished printing, turn the printer off and on normally (without holding paper feed button)
