If the Cash Drawer is not opening / working, it's normally to do with a problem with the Receipt Printer, as the drawer is connected to this.  Try each step below one at a time until the problem is resolved.

  1. On the till, under the Manager Screen, press 'Restart Printer' button (this step is only if your receipt printer also prints out order checks)
  2. Check the Cash Drawer cable is connected into the DK port on back of the Receipt Printer
  3. Check if the receipt printer is displaying an error light. This could indicate the paper has ran out or not inserted properly.
  4. Reset the printer by doing the following:
    1. Turn the printer off
    2. Hold down the paper feed button
    3. Turn the printer back on
    4. Once the printer starts printing or beeps, let go of the paper feed button
    5. The printer should now print out configuration settings
    6. Once its finished printing, turn the printer off and on normally (without holding paper feed button)
